With a Postgraduate qualification in Logistics Management and nine years at Freightways, Ruth brings valuable experience from a global career spanning multiple sectors including banking, insurance, telecommunications, and logistics.

Ruth’s diverse background includes strong IT credentials (ITIL Masters, MCSE), law undergraduate studies, and her logistics postgraduate qualification. Troy oversees the freight forwarding air and sea functions for international bulk and ecommerce cargo at Freightways Global, bringing an impressive 22 years of industry experience to the role.

His extensive background spans all aspects of freight forwarding—operations, commercial, sales, and supply chain—with 18 years in managerial positions. Troy also brings specialised knowledge in organising charters on cargo aircraft, adding valuable expertise to our international operations.

What drives Troy is finding innovative, out-of-the-box solutions for clients. He takes particular satisfaction in determining the best product to fit each customer’s unique requirements, ensuring they receive the optimal supply chain experience.

One of Troy’s key strengths is his commercial acumen, demonstrated through the strong relationships he builds with air and sea suppliers, overseas agents, and international partners. These connections allow Freightways Global to deliver exceptional service across complex global logistics networks.

Pratima keeps our financial operations running smoothly at Freightways Global, overseeing everything from accurate reporting to budgeting processes while providing strategic financial guidance that supports our growth and efficiency.

With a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Marketing, a Diploma in Commerce, and as an ACCA Part Qualified Chartered Accountant, Pratima brings solid credentials to her role. Her five years of experience in financial management within the logistics sector has equipped her with valuable expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Known around the office as approachable, diligent, and reliable, Pratima thrives in high-pressure environments and has a talent for streamlining processes. Her strong analytical skills and ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly to non-financial team members make her an invaluable bridge between our finance department and other business areas.

What drives Pratima is creating value through sound financial management. She takes particular satisfaction in providing accurate and timely financial information that helps stakeholders make informed decisions, ultimately contributing to our efficiency and service quality.

As our head of sales, Riaan focuses on developing cross-border solutions and building strong customer relationships that stand the test of time.

With over 20 years of sales experience and a background in various senior management roles, Riaan brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the Freightways Global team. His speciality lies in creating tailored solutions that address specific customer requirements and enhance their supply chain efficiency.

Around the office, Riaan is known for his distinctive South African accent and his dedication to exceptional customer service. He takes particular pride in implementing freight solutions that not only solve immediate logistics challenges but also contribute to long-term business partnerships.

Luke is our go-to expert for helping businesses improve their delivery services into and out of New Zealand. With 25 years of hands-on experience in cross-border express parcel and technology delivery services, he brings a wealth of practical knowledge to the Freightways Global team.

Throughout his career, Luke has held various shareholder and director roles in the UK, Europe, USA and New Zealand, giving him a truly global perspective on logistics challenges and opportunities.

His greatest strength? Finding creative solutions that deliver results clients didn’t even know they needed. It’s this innovative approach that makes him invaluable when tackling complex logistics puzzles.
